I get asked all the time which photo album company I recommend. I’ve tried several over the years, and I genuinely think Picaboo is one that’s well worth considering.
After putting off making my own wedding album for nearly ten years (you know what they say… the cobbler’s children have no shoes!), I finally created one with Picaboo. So now I can confidently answer a few of the questions I think you’re probably wondering, and a few you probably never thought to ask.

Who is this perfect for?
I think Picaboo is perfect for someone who values simplicity without sacrificing beautiful design. The album builder is easy to use, with clean, minimalist templates if that’s your style, but it also offers fully designed layouts with gorgeous graphics if you want something with a little more personality.
My favorite part is that those designs are customizable. If you love a layout but one graphic or decorative element isn’t your style, you can simply remove it. You’re not locked into the design, you get the best of both worlds: beautiful starting points with the flexibility to make them your own.

Seriously though, if you’ve never had the desire to look back through your memories, then a photo album probably isn’t for you. But for most picture people, there’s something incredibly special about holding your favorite moments in your hands instead of leaving them on a screen. It’s the kind of product that brings joy every time you pull it off the shelf.
What problem does this solve?
If you’ve ever felt like your favorite photos are getting lost in the endless sea of images on your phone, this solves that problem. It turns digital memories into something real, something you can hold, flip through, and enjoy.

What surprised me the most?
I expected to love the finished album, but I didn’t expect the process of creating it to be so much fun. It was surprisingly enjoyable to relive all of those memories as I chose the photos and put the pages together.
What surprised me even more was how often we’ve pulled it off the shelf. Since it arrived, we’ve flipped through it several times, and friends and family have enjoyed looking through our wedding photos too. Before that, those memories were just sitting on a hard drive, rarely seen. Now they’re part of our home and something we actually enjoy together.
What is my favorite feature?
It’s hard to choose just one, but what impressed me most was the overall quality. The album feels sturdy and well made, the pages have a substantial feel, and the print quality and color reproduction are beautiful. It doesn’t feel like a disposable photo book—it feels like something that was made to be enjoyed for years and passed around to family and friends.
If this disappeared tomorrow, how much would I miss it?
A lot.
This has become one of those treasured items I hope to pass down to our kids someday. If it disappeared tomorrow, I wouldn’t just miss it—I would recreate it immediately. That’s probably the highest compliment I can give it.

Definitely a Picture Person.
