This month’s pick is a personal favorite and, honestly, one of the few products I think almost everyone with old printed photos should own. If you’ve ever wanted to finally tackle those boxes of family memories, this is the tool I recommend over and over again.

Anyone with more than a shoebox full of old photos.
It’s perfect for people with busy schedules or anyone who’s had “scan the photos” sitting on their to-do list for years but just hasn’t gotten around to it. The Epson FastFoto dramatically cuts down the time it takes to scan your collection, making a project that can feel overwhelming surprisingly manageable.
Even better… it actually makes the job fun. Instead of feeling like another chore, you get to relive your memories while watching your photo collection come back to life.
Who probably doesn’t need this?
If your print photos are already scanned and safely backed up, then congratulations! Pat yourself on the back. That’s a huge accomplishment, and unfortunately it’s something far too many people never get around to doing.

Is it worth the money?
This is an interesting question because the Epson FastFoto isn’t inexpensive. It’s an investment. But it’s an investment in something that’s incredibly difficult, if not impossible, to replace.
Do I think it’s worth the money? Absolutely. In fact, I’d pay twice as much for it without hesitation.
It’s the one tool I’ve found that makes protecting your print photos easy enough that people will actually do it. And when it comes to preserving your family’s memories, that’s worth every penny.
What surprised me the most?
I expected the Epson FastFoto to make scanning easier. What I didn’t expect was how much fun it would be to use.
I’ve had mine for several years now, and I still enjoy watching old photos fly through the scanner. There’s something really satisfying about seeing decades of memories come back to life so quickly.

If this disappeared tomorrow, how much would I miss it?
Um… I’d be heartbroken! And I’ve already scanned all of my own personal photos, but I still love helping others with theirs. It’s definitely not a tool I want to live without!
If this were a person, what would its personality be?
Well… this one is my best friend, so I have nothing bad to say about it.
It’s trustworthy, confident, reliable, smart, and incredibly easy to spend time with. It never complains, always shows up ready to help, and somehow manages to make a job you’ve been putting off feel like fun.
Basically… it’s a Picture Person.
I love this scanner because it has a photo feeder. It allows you to scan stacks of photographs at one a time. I have found it to be the quickest and easiest way to get digital copies of old photographs and to get photo organized!
