Or choose this one for Android:
One question I get frequently is “how do I get the pictures off of my phone?”. Truth is, there are several methods. This is just one option that you can use. It’s a flash drive that will plug into your phone AND a USB port. This will enable you to move those pictures off of your phone. It will also store a good number of pictures on it too. This could be a good solution if you don’t have a computer.
As always, I never suggest having your photographs in just one location. Keeping them stored on this flash drive is one good spot, but you will still want to have a duplicate digital photo in another location. There is no single place where I truly believe your pictures are all safe. The only safe method is having that duplicate copy. Additionally storing them to a cloud service, like Amazon Photos or Dropbox, is an easy way to have them in that additional spot.
As photo backup methods go, this option is going to be on the slower side. I suggest selecting a group of pictures every night before you go to bed and moving them over overnight in smaller chunks. Then set up a weekly or monthly routine where you copy your most recent pictures.
This does require downloading an app to your phone. I found it to be super easy to use and pretty straight forward.
I’d love to hear your experience. Have you tried one of these flash drive options?
