I am religious about this one and I can tell you my entire family is thankful for it. We all enjoy those pictures and I cherish the conversations that are prompted by the pictures just as much as the photographs themselves.
The reason I am able to so easily do this (and keep up on it) is because I’ve made it a fun routine. Here are the steps I’ve taken to make sure I’m printing and enjoying my photographs every month.
- Take time everyday, or once a week and look at the pictures you’ve taken. Hit the heart icon to signify the best of the best. You should be able to narrow it down to a small group of photos.
- Download an app to print your pictures. There are so many great, easy apps that make picture ordering a cinch. Shutterfly and Lala Lab are two of the easiest to order from.
- Next! Purchase. A. Photo. Album!! Order that album, before you even order prints. Once you have that album in your hands, it becomes fun to add pictures to it. I leave mine out on the coffee table and everyone picks it up when they come to my home. I love that there is excitement around it and that really does motivate me to want to constantly add to it.
Here are two photo albums that I have used:

- go ahead and order those favorite pictures and add them to your album as soon as they arrive. When it’s a small group, adding them to the album is quick and easy too.
