Here they are, my four favorite photo scanners!
The first two options have a feeder so they will zip through photos up to an 8×10 size.
First the Epson FastFoto. This scanner is called the “world’s fastest personal scanner” and it is QUICK! That is why I will always pick this one as my favorite.
I love this scanner because it has a photo feeder. It allows you to scan stacks of photographs at one a time. I have found it to be the quickest and easiest way to get digital copies of old photographs and to get photo organized!
But there are others that work great too! This Plustek scanner is also faster than most, but it’s also more affordable, making it a great choice for those on a budget.
There are times when a scanner with a feeder is NOT a great option. If a photo is fragile, extra thick or too big, you’ll want a flatbed scanner. Then I suggest these options.
This Epson V600 scans larger pictures, it scans negatives and slides AND it also will clean up dust spots on a scan.
But if you don’t need all of the extra bells and whistles this basic Epson scanner will get the job done!
